At $1,699 MSRP for 2,048 Wh the AC200L lists at about $0.83 per Wh — the best in our 2 kWh set — and that's before counting the 30A outlet, which rivals reserve for pricier units.

Solar

1,200 W of solar input is the class high point: at full input the 2,048 Wh pack refills in about 1.7 hours of ideal sun (2,048 ÷ 1,200). For daily off-grid cycling, input wattage is the spec that decides whether the system keeps up, and this one does.

Charging

About 90 minutes from empty on wall power — a shade behind the DELTA 2 Max's 78, far ahead of anything needing an overnight plan. AC and solar can't hide a pack this size's appetite, but neither leaves you waiting long.

Portability, honestly

62.4 lbs in a boxy chassis without wheels is stationary equipment in practice. It moves house-to-car for a planned trip; it does not wander around a campsite. Budget for where it will live.

The Verdict

In the 2 kWh class the AC200L undercuts the DELTA 2 Max by $200 of MSRP while beating it on solar input (1,200 vs 1,000 W) and expansion ceiling (8,192 vs 6,144 Wh). Its 2,048 Wh — about 1,741 usable at 85% efficiency — runs a 150 W refrigerator for roughly 11.6 hours (2,048 × 0.85 ÷ 150). The Max answers with a 4,800 W surge, 12 lbs less weight, and a faster recharge; the AC200L's 3,600 W surge still starts typical fridge and furnace motors, but it's the spec to check against your worst load.

Bottom line

The most watt-hours and solar input per dollar in the 2 kWh class. Pick the DELTA 2 Max only if surge headroom or carry weight decides it.
